Not pooping and loss of appetite

My girl has not pooped in 5 days and has had a loss of appetite for about a week. She will still eat but not as often. I've let her soak in warm water for about 15-20 min once a day for the past 3 days and still no poop. I know this could be caused by her not eating, but i noticed a bump in her stomach while I was rubbing her tummy. I don't know if the bump is normal and I've just not noticed it before, or if it's something more serious. She has also been a bit lethargic but its still colder here so I think that's most likely normal. Other than that she seems normal and healthy.

Any advice on what to do would be appreciated!

Hi there,

How old is your girl?
Could you post a picture of her and her setup?

When she's in the bath, you can try gently messaging her belly in a circular fashion, and lightly palpitating it. Sometimes this helps work things along.

A lot of times, lack of appetite can be attributed to improper husbandry. What are you basking surface temps? And what are you measuring them with?

What UV bulb are you using and how old is it?

What was her daily diet like before this all started?

Sometimes, the simple act of shedding can upset dragons too and cause them to not want to eat.

Thank you for your replies! I apologize for the late response.
*I just gave her some prune baby food as I have seem some people suggest that to help them poop*

Age: 3 1/2

UV bulb: I use the Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Fluorescent Lamp and I changed it about a week 1/2 ago. I have it on top of the screen.

Basking temp: on floor is about 95. On the hammock, where she spends a lot of her time was 85, which I know is too low so I raised it a bit and got it to reach at least 90.
Cool end is 73.

i am using an extech thermometer to monitor temp and humidity on the basking side of the tank.

Diet: She normally will eat about 5 crickets daily and majority of the time she will ignore her salad. When I offered crickets today she seemed to eat them like normal. I dust them with calcium and vitamin supplements.

I'd like to mention that I have also noticed a whistling noise, I'm assuming from her nose, when I take her out to run around at times. I don't know if that could be related or not.

Here is a picture of her tank set up and a couple of her when i took her out earlier.
Sorry if the pics don't post. I've never done this before.

UV bulb: I use the Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Fluorescent Lamp and I changed it about a week 1/2 ago. I have it on top of the screen. The UVB needs to go inside the tank w/ no cover on the fixture over the bulb--- it needs to be 8-10 inches from basking decor-- the screen filters out 30% of those rays and w/ it being on top of the screen and cover on the fixture if there is one shes not getting very much or hardly any UVB rays --

Basking temp: on floor is about 95. On the hammock, where she spends a lot of her time was 85, which I know is too low so I raised it a bit and got it to reach at least 90. The basking spot needs to be 95-110-- I would get a piece of decor that offers that and put the hammock somewhere else in the tank
Cool end is 73. Cool end should be 80's during the day and 73 is good for nite time - you can get a regular house hold bulb NO LED like a 60 watt and put on that end of tank it will raise temp up

Diet: She normally will eat about 5 crickets daily and majority of the time she will ignore her salad. When I offered crickets today she seemed to eat them like normal. I dust them with calcium and vitamin supplements. I would order her some some worms and start adding to the salad to entice her to bowl --- worms like supers 1-3 butter worms silk worms they are a staple feeder -- horn worms a good hydrating worm also maybe BSFL they are small so order large and do not dust - you will need a glass bowl so they cant get out of it -- if you need websites let me know I will post some for you

How would i get the UVB light in her tank? I don't know how I would set that up.

I'll try and get to the store soon to get things to switch her tank up!

How many worms & crickets should she be eating? I'm always worried I'm feeding too many insects. I've also got dubia roaches I recently bought.
Could you please send websites for the worms and BSFL?

Do you think the improper lighing/temps is whats causing the issues?

I'm sorry for all the questions. This is my first beardie and I don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks for your help!

Fixture can be hung w/ long plastic zip ties - 3M veclro fasteners - picture wire hangers- shoe laces - NO cover on the bulb it needs to be exposed

Feed her as many crickets or dubias 2-3 times per week - she should get salads every day here is a website for nutritionhttp://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html ignore the thing about kale its good to feed as a staple

https://symtonbsf.com/ order large and dont dust
www.dubiaroaches.com - they carry the BSFL too but call them nutri grubs
https://reptilianarts.com/ they have good silk worms - they are also a staple feeder - if you order any kind of large amount get the food too as they do eat alot
http://www.mulberryfarms.com/ they only have real tiny ones now - I am right now raising and feeding the little ones I got - make sure when you get them if you have a lot of them you will need to clean the frass or poop out everyday or other day -- I usually just take them out of their container and dump the frass and put the back in -- also the old moldy food if they have not eaten it all -

Do you think the improper lighing/temps is whats causing the issues? yes it can be one of the causes and we need to get the lighting fixed to see if that is indeed the cause --

No its good your asking now before she gets any sicker -- they can only go so long w/ improper basking temps and incorrect UVB -- those two thing are the most important thing in that tank --

I will work on these changes ASAP!

How many dubias/crickets would you recommend per feeding?

Thank you so much for helping me out. I really appreciate it!

Depends on the size of the cricket or dubia - shes 3 she should be eating large crickets and ex large dubias --- my 2 year old will eat 3-4 at a time sometimes less - depends if the insect is smaller or not- if they are real big they will eat less - I have a huge dubia right now in my roach tank I am actually kind of scared to feed Hiccup its so big - it is a female and she is just huge -- so I have not fed it to him

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
