Our 4 year old male beardie never seemed to fully come out of brumation this year. Usually he's brumating from about October to April.
This year he would come out and then go back to his cave, some days he would come out and be super active and eat and then sleep again for another whole day.
Now just recently these last 2 months he has thrown up a hornworm twice.
He's been seen by a experienced reptile vet, we have done blood work twice now once a month for 2 months and blood work looks good, we also had x-rays done and they look fine as well. He was also recently dewormed last month in preparation for his normal brumation schedule.
He is in a 4x2x2 enclosure with a basking spot of 100, an Arcadia 12% UVB and tile substrate. His UVB light is still producing proper ammounts of UVB, I check it regularly with my solar meter.
I guess I'm wondering if it's normal for a beardie to not come out of brumation fully for a whole year?
