Slighty puffed beard on juvi bearded dragon

o I had my bearded dragon for about a week and everything seemed ok. But today after his feeding of small crickets for breakfast that I purchased from petco, I noticed his beard is slightly puffed out. I do not know if this is good or bad. It's been like that all day. He doesn't seem to be in any distress, but did notice he hadn't been all that hungry today at lunch or dinner. he hate a couple of crickets but totally skipped dinner. I am worried the feed petco gave me might have caused something. The petco employee assured me the crickets I purchased were the appropriate size for a juvenile, but now I am getting worried. it could be just my imagination but this is my first bearded dragon and I just wanna make sure he's ok. He already had his poop for the day and seems still lively since he run around his home.

He might have some crickets stored in there -- but if he was in distress his beard would be black --- you got your guy from Petco ? Can you please post pics of your tank and lighting so we can maybe give you some tips on your husbandry

Yeah when Nibbles eats a bunch of crickets she keeps them in her beard for a little bit.
