As the title says when we aren't home he has deep stress marks Even worse then regular black chain link, his whole stomach gets black. His regular belly color is white.when we get home and feed him it goes back to light chain link When he comes out of his tank to cuddle the marks all go away.

Bask rock is 105, cool side in the 80s. Water and kale and escarole and butternut squash provided while we're gone.

Hi. Cute little fella. What is the set up like? What kinds of lights do you use? Brands? How are you taking the temps?

Repti basking bulb for heat, t5 10 bulb I forget the brand but it's the most recommend one here. Temps taken with Lazer gun 4 inches from spot. Thanks for reading.

Set up sounds good. He's probably just turning dark to absorb more heat.
Ok good, I was worried the poor guy was spending the day stressed out. When I took the picture he was on the opposite side of his lamp. The cool gradient. But he chose that! Lol. I d be very sad if he was stressed all day

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
