I have a beardie who’s about 1 year old around 70 grams (ADV) what would be the optimal supplement schedule be? ❤️ She only eats reptiboost and is being treated with colloidal silver with Trace ✨
Thank you in advance

What I do is for all my pet lizards is :

VERY LIGHT dusting with pure colloidal calcium powder on the crickets DAILY.

VERY LIGHT dusting of Vitamin powder & pure colloidal calcium power on WEEKENDS ONLY.
My mix is 1:1.

I don't think an ADV positive dragon will require anything different wrt mineral and vitamin supps.

70g is pretty small for a 1 year old bearded dragon, it's more the size I'd expect for a 3 to 4 month old.

Iv never heard of colloidal powder? Is it from Tracie?

Is simply very fine powder of CaC03 formed by precipitation from saturated solution which is then "extracted" and dried.
Calcium carbonate has a very low solubility in pure water (15 mg/L at 25°C).

Some manufacturers use ground oyster shells or ground limestone then sieve the grit to make a CaCO3 powder.

The colloidal CaCO3 is much smaller in particle size (about 10 nm) cf ground CaCO3 which should be sold under 250 microns (about the size of flour particles).
The colloidal CaCO3 particles are much more readily digested and metabolized.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
