I went to pick up my lizard and noticed something small and black immediately scurry into her ear. I picked her up and a moment later it scurred back out. It looked like one of those small black gnats I see outside a lot (similar to ants in appearance/size but with wings) and I immediately tossed out. Is it a mite or just something that happened to be there?
