We've only had Bowser for about a month and a half. Got him off some kid who wasn't really housing him correctly but from what we could tell he has been healthy since we've been taking care of him.

However today we noticed his tail looked different. It suddenly goes from his normal tail to a white/grey to dark grey at the tip We're just not sure if it's shedding or tail rot. He does have a little white patch on his knee from shedding but we just wanted to get some other opinions too.

Thanks!

Hi there, that area is just shedding, they shed in stages and some parts can linger for a month or more with an adult. Just watch about 1/2 " from the end , there is a small indentation so if it has trouble shedding there you can use some pure aloe [ with no added ingredients, even right from the plant ] to help it shed.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
