Confusion about Brumation?

Hi, so my beardie is around a year and a half so he could possibly go through his first brumation later this fall. I want to be prepared, knowing what to look for and knowing what to do. Things that I’m confused about are how to feed during brumation? Like should I leave dubia roaches in his roach cup while he sleeps or try to feed him if we wakes up for a few days? And how do I hydrate?? I’m not totally sure about the to-dos and what-not-to-dos because I have seen soooooo many different contradicting opinions online that I’m pretty confused. Help! Just spout out as many rules of what to do and what not to do as you can!

Brumation time is challenging to say the least.
Most of us here find it somewhat stressful.
The best advice I can give you is if they are of good
weight, apparently healthy, then usually they will be
just fine during that time. They normally don't lose
much weight either.
I keep the lights on, but shorten their light cycle for
awhile. If they stay asleep for several days, then I'll
turn lights off. You can check on them often to be
sure they stay hydrated.
It is best not to leave food in their tank because they
may or may not eat. I normally don't feed them much
they don't digest during times where they are cooler and
food can sit in their systems too long.
When he gets up, you can offer water at first. If he stays
up, then maybe some greens or a few worms, etc.

Is he slowing down some now?
