Hello!
I have a baby beardie who's about 7 months old. I've had him for about 3 months with the same basking and uvb lighting with no problems. He's always super active and perky, even now. However, he's been turning pretty dark for the past 2 days now, and those chain link markings have been appearing on his belly along with dark stripes on his beard. But whenever I take him out and hold him he lightens up again and the marks go away. I noticed he's also got heavy shedding on his face area right now. Is it just because he's shedding, or could he be sick or stressed? I haven't changed anything around in his tank at all. Whenever I try to put him down in his cage, he wraps his legs around my hand and then runs back up my arm like he doesn't want back in there...Thank you for the help!
