Beardie hiding all day?

Hey everyone.

For the past 1-2 weeks or so, Cleo has been acting a little weird. She eats like a champ (I wish she'd eat more greens, but she does eat them), but seems like maybe she's struggling to poop? She's been going close to every day, but it's just been urates and no actual poop. I'm getting really worried! She's always been a.. weird pooper I guess you can say, but when she has no symptoms she usually has a big poop around twice a week. The daily urates is not normal for her.

After she poops, she runs around her tank like a psycho and glass surfs, so I usually take her out and let her run around my room while I clean her tank.

The past two days though, she's been hiding in her cave for most of the day. She hasn't even been in her cave for close to a year, and she's never hidden in it before. I've been really busy with school and work, but my mom told me that when she came home from work at 4pm yesterday and today, Cleo was hidden in her cave. She won't come out unless I physically take her out, and when I do she gets really annoyed at me. I'm worried she might be sick and have been contemplating getting a fecal sample done.

Here's some quick info:
- UV: Reptisun T5 10.0 bulb
- Temps: Basking is 103, cool side is 85 (temp taken with a laser gun)
- She given crickets every other day and greens daily. (I don't think I've been dusting with calcium enough, so I'm in the process of tweaking that)
- She is between 15 and 18 months old

Any advice would be really helpful! I'm going to give her a bath tonight to see if that helps her pass more than a urate.

If she's struggling to poop, some extra hydration might be helpful. Try dripping water on her nose and see if she licks it up. You could also offer her a few drops of olive oil the same way. I'd see if the extra hydration helps first and go from there.

Thanks for the info! I gave her a bath last night and she just passed a really small urate again with no actual poop. She's soo bad about drinking water, just refuses to do it. Even when I put it on her nose she usually just shakes her head to get it off. I'm going to try water today, and then I'll definitely give the olive oil a shot too. Thanks again!

She could have been sort of gravid! They lay infertile eggs sometimes & often they start to make eggs & then reabsorb them (kinda gross but it doesn't waste body resources I guess). They have weird digestive things like weird poops & eating less because the eggs are pushing on their digestive tracts. She could have been staking out a cave to lay in.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
