Beardie has loose stools

We've had our beardie for about a month and a half (he's maybe 2 months old?), and he started having a change in his stool consistency for the last two days. It's a lot softer than usual and a smaller amount (sometimes drops)
[/img] He's eating his veggies, but isn't as interested in bugs. Yesterday he only ate 5 crickets (he usually eats 10-20 at a time) but lots of veggies. He didn't want any super worms, either. Same thing today, he only ate a few crickets but all of his veggies. The only thing we have done differently is we've been having to feed him PetCo crickets (our package of crickets got lost in the mail, so we're waiting for a new package from our supplier)
Any ideas and should we be concerned?
Thanks!

Lots of veges can provide more water than needed (especially things like squash) and that is passed through. Sometimes they get an upset stomach from a change in diet or just because something isn't sitting right with them. That usually resolves itself within a week or two. If the loose stool keeps up for more than a couple of weeks, then I'd take a sample to the vet for a checkup. If it's just occurring for a few days then I wouldn't be too worried about it yet.

Thanks for your response! We'll keep an eye on him. He's been eating a lot of greens (mustard, collard). The change in diet makes sense since we had trouble with the crickets situation. Thanks again!

It's great that he's into his greens. They are really healthy and he should get all he wants. At that age he is still growing a lot and will need plenty of protein too. I'd avoid superworms at his age due to their size and relatively high fat content. I would try some black soldier fly larvae or silk worms in addition to crickets or roaches and see what he likes best. The more variety you can offer in terms of bugs the better (Same with veges).

Thanks again for your response! He's back to normal. He was shedding, so maybe that had something to do with it. I'll look into the black soldier fly larvae!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
