Brumation?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help answer some questions about Brumation and if my Bearded Dragon is healthy or not. I have already read the general article on Brumation but I am still concerned. About a week ago my bearded dragon Piff went into his hide and fell asleep, he has not moved since. He is only a little over a year old and I want to check on him to make sure that he is okay but I'm not sure if that will mess him up or something. I'm concerned though because I feel like there is no way to even know if he is alive. If anyone has any advice as to how I can help keep him healthy and check to make sure he is okay I would really appreciate it.

His Set up:
tile flooring
hot side of tank ranging from 93-99
basking branch and rock on the hot side
hiding rock and food dish on the cool side

First of all, please check on him and make sure he is okay. Even if he is in brumation you should wake him up once a week, give him a warm bath and make sure he gets some hydration. So can you please go and do that and let us know whether or not he's okay? Then we'll go from there...

I agree. If he isn't waking up on his own in some cycle, wake him once a week and weigh him and offer some water. You can drip water on his nose to lick up if he doesn't like baths. Track his weight as this should remain pretty stable since his metabolism has slowed down.

Good news, I took him out for a nice warm bath and he woke up immediately after I lifted up his hide. He was a little dark in color at first, but after some time in the water he brightened up to his normal color. He refused any water so I made him a bid fruit and veggie salad with bell pepper and grapes to help keep him hydrated, he is eating that thankfully. Should I just continue to do this one a week if he continues to sleep like this? He is acting normal now, if a little tired. Any additional tips would be greatly appreciated as I am still very new to brumation.

Yeah you can keep doing that. Probably don't need to offer the food if he isn't taking water but if he's eating a little bit then that shouldn't be an issue. My dragon is in his first brumation too so I'm doing the same thing.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
