Hello, newbie owner here. My Smaug has been changing colors, I didn't notice it until a few days ago. No behavior has changed, he is still eating well, well hydrated, good temps,etc. Nothing else out of the ordinary. But its clearly shown in the picture (s) the discoloration on certain parts of his body. Again im just a newbie owning dragons, but I love my guy.
Here it was starting:
then a lot more yesterday:
Specially his head, but you can see it throughout various parts of his body.
He still seems really happy, basking, eating, alertive, normal naps, etc.
Any ideas?
EDIT: forgot to mention, he is around 2 years old (more or less)
