I'm glad you ruled out the egg-binding, it's such a horrible situation when it does happen, and if not taken seriously it's quickly fatal, so when in doubt check for it. Keep us posted when you get the blood work results!

I never thought about gout ! If it turns out to be gout how is it treated and what is the recommended diet for gout ? Her staple bugs are dubias (we have a colony at home) and occasional super worms, BSFL, hornworms for treats (once every few months)
