Hello everyone,
I am somewhat a new beardie owner and seeking advice on what other things I should do to get rid of the parasite other than keeping his cage clean and giving meds. Right now he has a parasite called coccidia. Right now I took out some of the things in the cage accept the rope hammock and a cork log.

Any recommendations?

Coccidia is common in bearded dragons and usually harmless in small amounts, so try not to worry too much.
Keeping his cage clean and giving proper medication are the most important things to do and it sounds like you have that under control. It usually only requires about 2 treatments to clear it all out. I found using paper towels as a substrate while battling parasites helps a ton. You can literally throw them away everyday and after each bowl movement to help make things easier on you and reduce the risk of reinfection
