Hello!

I've been wondering for a while now to start my own colony, since everyone in the US boasts so well on how it goes and ease for feeders, but obviously the UK never has any warmth compared to them!

Was just wondering if anyone has a successfull colony on the go, and any pointers in trying to keep them at a nice temperature, without needing a mat on 24/7 :(

Any equipment tips if you have any, like specific heatmats/thermostats/totes etc. :)

I've just noticed this section of the Forum, so glad there are other UK owners on this site!

Thanks in advance!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
