I have a 2 year old male beardie named Cronus. I am enlisting in a month, shipping for basic in 6 months or so, and I will have nowhere to keep him. I don't want to board him somewhere, but I don't really know anyone in the area that knows anything about bearded dragons. I will be bringing him wherever I get stationed, but I have to figure out where that is and find a place outside of the barracks first. It is a while away, but I am feeling out my options right now. I already know my parents are not a viable option, as my mom calls him my "vermin" lol. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Where are you located now? Maybe there is someone in your area that is a member on here that may be able to help you out?

Found a friend that is willing to foster him until I get out of the barracks :) Thanks for your suggestions and help, and I will keep you guy updated if plans fall through.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
