My baby woke from his first brumation 5 days ago and he’s been black bearding and head bopping a lot. He’s also not eating as much as I would have expected after 2 months brumation. He’s 15 months old so I’m wondering if this is just him wanting a mate or if it’s something I should be concerned about. We have no other Bearded dragons.

He’s also very restless.

He’s in a 4’ viv with 55cm T5 reptisun tube (14” above his head). Temps are 40 (104) on his basking stone and 28 (82) in the cool side. I’m using digital thermometers with probes and a digital thermostat.

Beardie name(s)
Hiccup he is 6 and Blaze is 4
The head bobbing is normal -- its spring and they tend to go thru a spring fever type and w/ him being a male its hormones -- the restlessness too --- hes been sleeping and now full of energy-- as far as appetite it will eventually come back -- that is normal too -- just give him some time to readjust to being awake and moving around again --

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
