Today my bearded dragon got his claws on a gummy bear and took it in his mouth. I ended up having to chase and catch him to pry it from his mouth. His beard went black, and he won't let me touch him, so I know I made him angry and anxious. I'm worried that now he won't want to be with me. He's usually very tactile and likes to sleep on my chest, but now he won't let me near him.
Will he never let me touch him again? Have I ruined our relationship entirely? Or will he move past this? I'm worried because I love this little guy and didn't mean to make him upset, I just didn't want him to eat something so sugary and sticky.
