My beardie is sitting up under his heat lamp and his color turned dark gray. (I would post a picture but he stopped doing it). He does it frequently. He’s in normal basking position, sitting on his belly, but his front legs aren’t bent, they are outstretched.
What does this mean?

From your description, that sounds like normal basking behavior! Dragons can make themselves darker to absorb more heat, similar to a solar panel.

Sitting on his belly with his legs stretched out sounds like he is very comfortable. It would be a concern if they were doing the opposite, such as laying down and hiding all day.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
