Heater?

So since winter is here my room has been very cold so what i would do is i would put him in front of my heater until his light heats up but lately he has been putting up his arm and shaking it only when he is in front of the heater. The last time he did I thought it was only a one time thing so i tried to look it up but i couldn't find anything... maybe he is to close..?

Invest in a heat emitter if your tank is 40 + gallon try a 100 watt -- you want temps in the tank at nite around 65-75--you will need a dome w/ a ceramic socket-- they produce only heat no light -- I would keep him away from the heater not sure what that is all about
