so I’ve had my bearded dragon for almost 2 months and she is always super kind, still a bit scared of me sometimes but for the most part she’s doing well. Is very healthy, she stays hydrated, eats well, poops daily and is growing however I noticed that whenever she sheds she seems to not wanna be touched, gets very grumpy all day, seems to kind of hide underneath a log in her tank, and basically wants nothing to do with me :(. but I’ve noticed that this only happens when she sheds ?? because once most of her shed is off she is completely white beard / belly 24/7, I can get near her & hand feed her & per her sometimes & she’s overall very happy all day.

so I was wondering is there such thing as “shedding behavior” ?? because I believe she only acts very grumpy when she sheds ...

Each beardie is different, but shedding can be annoying for them. Their reaction can range from no real change in behavior at all to leave me the heck alone. From my experience as they get older it seems to have less of an effect.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
