Hi everyone! So I've had Ziggy for a month now and she's now 8 months recently I've noticed her glass surfing but only for a little bit then she stops. Also, I've noticed and this is super recent but when she's on her basking spot which is about 95 to 100 degrees she has her stress marks and is pretty dark but when I take her out and hold her she has a creamy belly and is her normal colors. What does all this mean? Am I doing something wrong?

Basking Temps: 95-100 degrees
Warm Temps:90 degrees
Cool side:87 degrees
Humidity (during the day): Between 40-45%
Humidity (at night): Between 50-55%
Tank Size: 50 gallons
UVB Bulb: Reptisun T5 on top of the tank normally currently I've had to switch it to an MVB
Basking bulb: Exo Terra Daylight bulb 100watt normally currently MVB
Eats: 2 salads a day with 1 waxworm, 2 supers, and 5 1/2 inch dubias
Dusting: 5 days calcium and 2 days vitamin
Bathroom: Poops everyday

I have only heard of one person using this MVB -- so I am not sure how good it is-- I just know certain MVB do not put out enough UVB rays and its often recommended that a good tube fixture be used as well -- the glass surfing may not have anything to do w / it but lighting can always play a factor in their behavior-

Ok I was just curious about it. I kinda chalked it up to her liking to be out with me.

They all glass surf - just for different reasons- keep.an eye on her behavior-- eating pooping basking--- anything out of the ordinary- her mvb is going to play a big part in that and if at some point it's off it could be the mvb - since we don't know the rep of the bulb your using

I need to replace some lighting that's why she had the MVB back because I already had it. I plan on fixing her old lights either tonight or tomorrow

Ok well this will be a good test to see if she continues to glass surf-- if she does you know its not the lighting or that bulb you were using

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
