Glass surfing

Hey! My bearded dragon suddenly started glass surfing today, which he hasn’t done before. I checked the temperature, everything seems normal in the tank. I gave him mealworms today (he’s an adult) and he has been very active after that. Can anyone tell me why he may be glass surfing?

Could be hormones -- could be UVB -- could be basking temps-- are you only feeding mealworms for a diet? Are you sure its a he and not a she? Any digging or only glass surfing ? How big is the tank ? Usually glass surfing is they want out--------- please go over your tank husbandry so we can rule out all the above
brand and bulb of UVB -NO coils!!!!!!!!!!!
basking temps what are they and how are you taking them ? NO stick ons they are inaccurate
