Not eating after brumation

Hello,

My beardie just went through a nice long 5 month brumation, now he is out and about, tearing up his cage everyday lol. Seems to have lots of energy. My question is simply how long after brumation do they typically go uninterested in food for? He will eat a couple super worms, none of his greens.
First time he’s been through brumation, he’s about 1.5 years old.

From what I have been told a few weeks --- as long as hes eating something - his appetite may take a bit before it comes back

Am still going through something very similar. 1st brumate. She woke up with bonkers energy. Would only eat insects. I kept leaving out vegetables and occasionally hand offering a vegetable. It took about 3-4 weeks before she willingly ate vegetables again. Now we're 6 weeks after waking up and she is starting to eat about half her vegetables every day now.

Make them available. Offer him vegetable things like you did before brumating. Personally I don't give my girl bugs every day now that she is 1.5 years old. Maybe that helps her to have 1-2 days in a row without bugs, do what you think is the best way for him

My dragon went through the energetic phase for a month or so after brumation before his appetite picked back up.

Awesome, thank you all for the replies. His behavior seems completely normal then. I will keep some greens in there for him and keep offering the bugs since he’ll still eat a couple of those. It’s still cold here in Canada so I’m sure he’ll be back to normal in the next couple weeks.
