So everything has been great until tonight I noticed him acting funny after eating. Gave him some superworms, and some collard greens with butternut squash pieces. He keeps flaring his beard, then jerking his head back when making sporadic movements. Also seems like he’s dragging himself. This is the first night I’m noticing this. He still seems to have full control over all of his legs. Superworms aren’t an everyday thing for him. Maybe 1-2 times a week, otherwise it’s a mixture of crickets/dubias. He’s got temps of around 105 and a Reptisun 10.0 T5. Was eating the superworms and greens out of my hand like it was nothing. So I’m just really confused right now!!!

How old is your UVB? Does he usually brumate?

It’s a month old, and I don’t think he’s ever brumated. But I do think I was overreacting cause 1. He is actually shedding right now so I think he was dragging to get his belly cause a huge chunk of shed came off. 2. Just gave him a bath and he pooped instantly.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
