So my 7-8 week old beardie was cold for 2 days due to a lighting issue which I have since fixed. She also didn’t eat for that time but at a superworm and 2 good size crickets a few minutes ago. However she has went from a light sandy color to dark brown. She has been under the basking light at 105 degrees all day. Will this reverse itself? I know it is her trying to warm up but i hope it’s not permanent.

Hiccup he is 6 and Blaze is 4
She is digesting her food and the dark means shes absorbing the heat

Are you sure your temp is 105? If she stayed under all day I'd question if that's the actual temp. What are you using to measure your temps?

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
