Jaxsey is now 17 inches long today and has stopped shedding. She is in a 40gal and she had shedded 2x since having that size enclosure. Does shedding usually slow down after they reach a certain length or age? I have all correct lighting and she is eating great. There are no other concerns or anything. She acts normal as usual and is active love the outdoors now that it is hot here. I leave the doors to her enclosure open when I am at home in case she wants to come out. She was scratching like crazy today she has a place to lay and yes that is all properly placed and ready for her. But all in all I just have the question about shedding.

Shedding really varies quite a bit. Generally as they get older their growth slows and their sheds become more patchy and less frequent than when they are young and going through major growth spurts. That's not to say they won't shed their face one day and then start into another shed a week later, it's just less common. You're likely to see an arm shed then a back shed then a tail shed etc. in patches.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
