Stressed and laying in water dish

I have a 2-3 month old beardy.. we took him out to play put him in the bath tub with no water so he can run around and climb on my son.. when we put him back in his tank he started going crazy running everywhere and was getting dark now he's full of stress marks and in laying in his water dish. What's going on?

Hi. Can you give a rundown of the setup? Temps and how you take them? Lights used? Coil/ compact any colored bulbs? How big is the enclosure?

He seems to be doing much better. I'm assuming it's just cause he was either a) able to see his reflection b) just needed exercise. My kids drew some pictures and we used that as the tanks background his colors got better and now he is perched on his log!!!!
