Jacobs getting a bit aggressive for me

So I’ve just noticed Jacob has been getting a bit aggressive he’s been attacking my thumb when I pet near his mouth and he used to like that before and he attacks the pads in his cage for some odd reason which he’s never done before and now idk if it’s his puberty or he’s just becoming aggressive.

It could just be hormones. He's about the right age for that and might be aggressive or more energetic than usual for a while. Try offering a bug treat when he does it. If he is energetic try taking him out and giving him time to run around in a safe area of the house for a bit and let him burn off some energy.
