Ok so its been a week or 2 and Hiccup is hardly eating- he has been almost completely off his dubias- I am getting him to eat the horn worms and superworms and butter worms along w/ the nutrigrubs- - he is eating a little greens but will not touch the dubias-- hes been hiding in his rock which sits under the basking light or sleeps all day in his cave- he is now pooping once every other day and only bask about every other day which promotes the pooping every other day- temps are good cool side 78 - basking around 106 or so- he sat most of the day a couple of days ago under his UVB which sits inside the tank and hes about 6" or under it -- so I cannot figure out the odd behavior - hes not shedding so to speak - he has a vet appt a week from this Monday- he looks good --- but I am wondering if he is trying to start his brumation-

He looks healthy and at a good weight. His behavior does sound like brumation so I'd keep track of his weight and let him do his thing for now.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
