My beardie always gets stressed when he’s left in his enclosure for too long. it’s 40 gal, got 10.0 reptisun UVB, temps are good, and he’s eating and pooping normally. if i leave him in his enclosure for more than a couple hours consecutively, he gets a dark beard and stress marks. as soon as i take him out and hold him tho, they go away. on one hand it’s really sweet that he’s attached to me like that and finds comfort with me, because the feeling is definitely mutual. on the other hand, he obviously needs to have 8 hours of his required heat and UVB, and i don’t like leaving him there if he’s so stressed. any suggestions?
