Hello there, I'm new to this community. I've been thinking of joining up for a while and thought I'd bite the bullet today. For a while now my beardie who's about a year and a few months old has been very reluctant to come out of his hide at all. He will literally lay there all day sleeping and not move. I will have to pick him up and put him on the basking spot. He will sit there with an angry sleepy face for about 15 mins and then go digging and hiding again.
I thought it could of been brumination but he's been like this since january/February now and I'm just really worried about him. He eats well, that's never an issue. I give him regular baths so he can go to the toilet and so on. I just don't know what's wrong. Has anyone else experienced this and can give me some advice. His temps are about 115 basking spot and 75 cool end.

Hi. What kinds of lights are you using? How are you taking the temps? 115 is too hot . Try and get it down to 105. Hopefully he'll come out once the temp is lowered.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
