So reptar is about 5 months old now. Such a sweet boy. Recently he started this thing where he gets so energetic in his tank runs up and down the front tank glass. Sometimes claws at it. And as soon as I take him out he calms down and just hangs on me and stares out the window. Does he do this because that’s his way of saying he wants to come out and hang out. His temps are good everything is good. I’m just wondering about this behavior or he’s just wanting to come out and play. After we play for a little I’ll put him back in the tank and he will stop running and chill for a little.

I'd guess he just wants to get out and explore a bit. It's good to provide him time out of the tank when you can. Especially if he is responding well to it.
