Drogon is my first beardie. I’ve had her for 11 months and believe she’s about 12 months old. Recently she’s been eating less, sometimes once a day, sometimes she’ll just sit in her hammock all day and not eat at all. If I bring the food up to her she’ll it sometimes. I offer Dubia and fresh greens with squash twice daily. Do older dragons eat less? Poop is normal, about once a week. Is she just lazy? Should I switch to feeding more greens and less dubia at this age? Thanks for any advice!

At about 12 months they only need protien about once a day. As they age they do switch over to less insects and more greens.

You'd still feed the same amount every feeding like you would with a younger dragon, 10-20 insects every meal. Just rather than 3 or 2 meals every day of 10-20 insects its just a single meal of 10-20 insects everyday.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
