Hi,

My almost 2 years old female beardie just won't stop glass surfing(she is both trying to climb up and bumping the glass with her nose). I've tried putting cardboard in front of the clear sides, she has been out exploring for 45 minutes or so, and she has food but won't eat it. When I give her attention she just walks away to go back to glass surfing. I have no idea why she's doing it and It is driving me crazy.
I don't think it's tank related. It is a 60 gallon?(125lx50dx50h) with tube uvb and it is around 35c(95f) on her basking log and 26-28c(81f) on the cold side, for substrate I use repticarpet.

Edit: I don't think she is gravid, she has laid eggs just a few months ago.

Did she go into brumation this year? It could be hormones or the time of year making her more active than usual. My guy is running around the house like crazy right now. He is surfing the walls of the house! If this is the case there isn't much to do except give her some space to run around and burn off energy and wait it out.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
