The last two week our dragon has been pooping in the salad bowl, he or she used to do it in the same spot in the corner all the time, which I would clean as soon as possible, then the last two weeks it’s been doing it in the salad bowl I feel it’s almost deliberately. I pour my heart and soul into preparing the salad and it’s never the same salad I like to give the dragon a variety of Vegetables. Everything else is fine he has no issues with baths or being held the the poop is also normal as so is the temps and humidity on both sides of the tank as well as the basking spot. Not sure if anyone else had this issue before.

Unfortunately that is a sport for some of them. It's important to thoroughly clean the bowl after this happens so they don't get sick. It's hard to train young dragons but as they get older (and tend to only go once a day or less) you can start to train them through routine. If you set a routine with some warm up time in the morning, followed by time out of the tank maybe under a portable basking light and offer breakfast on an easy to clean area. You can offer a warm bath or just wait until they poop to let them go (within reason). After a while they learn the routine and will poop in the easy to clean area and rarely make a mess in their tank.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
