Hello

I got my bearded dragon two days ago. At first, he was looking fined, but last night he climbed his background and tried to escape. Today, when I put crickets in his cage, he decided to come down and had been waiting for around twenty minutes before deciding to start chasing these insects. I checked on him two hours later and as soon as I entered the room and started to approach he started to retreat in a corner like if he scares or something.

My question: Is this behavior normal?

Thank you

Yes. You haven't had him long and he may just not be used to you or anyone. Just keep up your routine and let him see you to get used to you, eventually he will.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
