Hi, I've had my beadie, Peatrie for 3 weeks now. He's about 8 weeks old and since I've had him he's been very skittish and scared but I figured that's bc of his new environment. He eats very well and poops once a day. I have all the right lighting for him and give him calcium with D3 everyday. I've noticed he gets really gray when he's scared and his stress marks get very dark. But other times he's very orange and yellow with a white belly. Today I held him and gave him a bath and he was colorful and then I put him back in his viv and he was laying flat on his stomach and was soooo gray and dark. Is something making him scared? Is this normal?

That sounds pretty normal and he looks quite healthy! They also darken like that to absorb heat and light so you'll often see it when they are basking or trying to warm up (after a bath for example).

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
