Hi all!
So I know all dragons are different, mine seems to be especially picky sometimes though. I was wondering though what your dragon loves and hates!
For instance, my dragon seems to dislike baths and water (although they calm him down). He also dislikes veggies, fruits, and waxworms (not a bad thing).
He loves Phoenix worms, exploring, and nuzzling something soft! I'm grateful for the things he loves, I just wish he'd like other healthy items and activities ?
But I'd like to know the things your dragons love doing or eating! Maybe I'll be able to get some ideas for mine ?

Well our little Peaches likes going outside in the grass and sun. She loves the patio (feels secure). She likes her veggies and fruit. She likes crickets, super worms and wax worm (when she gets them). She loves being held and likes to cuddle.

She hates a bath, does not like to be bothered while exploring (have been black bearded many times for this) I'm a slow learner, lol!!!! Don't stand in her sun either, lol!!!
I'm pretty sure I have missed a thing or two but over all she's pretty easy going.

My big guy abera likes superworms, apples, peppers, dubia roaches, being outside, snuggling, being put to sleep at night, interaction. He hates veggies, other people, being woken up in the middle of the night, shedding, baths, birds, and cars speeding by (strange enough he likes bring in cars), and in boxes.

Haku absolutely detests mornings, phoenix worms, being put back in his cage when he's busy exploring, and the outdoors - just clings to me until I take him back in.

But he loves silkworms, one specific pillow, basil, mango, and running under my bed (despite the fact that he is NOT allowed under there).

My big girl (Rex) LOVES her crickets and superworms (worms and pupae) and mealworms (worms doesn't get them very often, pupae and beetles (especially if crunchy !). Likes silkworms too (they don't last long). She also loves her buk choy.
Treats are to share an apple , strawberry or blueberry with daddy.
She adores the sunny window, and loves a bit of rustlely paper (she loves the sound it makes when she's on it) and she adores her nightly daddy and mommy snuggles before going to bed. Loves being made cosy and secure wrapped in daddy's old holey red t-shirt while on daddy's chest. She's pretty much a daddy's girl , but still loves mommy snuggles too.

Peppa , she's a garbage guts, if it moves it's eaten, she also likes her buk choy. Peppa has always been a snuggler , can't get enough daddy and mommy snuggles (she'll snuggle all day and all night and her fav place is top of the chest looking over the shoulder) , and she's a real TV addict when she's in her tub.

Toothless is mad for crickets (can't get them fast enough, gotta watch the finger tips when giving his crickets to him, sometimes he gets so enthusiastic he accidentially gets the fingertip), not so keen on his greens. Toothless LOVES being on the floor and being able to run about and socialise and annoy Rex and never likes it when his time on the floor is curtailed (but settles almost immediately within a few minutes of being returned to his tub).

They all love being handfed by their daddy.

Reptar loves blueberries! Even when he is sick and doesn't want food, he will still go for a blueberry or two. He also seems to like it when I wrap him up like a burrito in a blanket. Or maybe he is just humoring me

He hates it when I watch him eat his food. He's just so shy! I try to hide it but somehow he always knows!

My beardie is also not allowed under the bed, but he can't seem to resist the urge to go under there! It's like I tell him not to go near something and all of the sudden that thing becomes the most exciting thing in the world. I know that he probably doesn't understand what I am trying to explain to him, but I swear he just loves to rebel!

I completely understand!! Chester is like that too. He'll only eat in front of me if I'm hand feeding him Phoenix worms. Otherwise he won't ? They're so silly!

My girl likes walking around outside but dislikes when I walk ? I'm literally not allowed to stand up I have to sit down the entire time. She likes Dubias, Phoenix worms, hornworms and supers but sit a bowl of veggies in front of her and you'll get the stink eye. She loves to have her belly and beard rubbed but for gosh sakes don't touch her tail or feet. She also loooves tv and looking out of the window they are her two favorite hobbies. As far as baths she has to have her water at a very specific temperature or she will freak out the entire time. It's gotta be a little on the hot side (not enough to hurt/burn her) but a little warmer than you'd make it for a baby. When the temps are to her standards she will actually go to sleep in the bath.

Oh and she also hates pooping in her enclosure ? She will cage dance compulsively when she has to go and if I don't get her out in time she lets it out right on top of her veggies. That's how much she loves her salad

Oh yeh .... tell them "no ! don't go there" and move them away and it becomes irresistible to them .... all mine are like that .... we close the bedroom doors to stop them from disappearing under the beds. (Lost Rex once for hours, eventually found her curled up under our big bed) .

Haku always waits until I'm not looking and attempts a mad dash from the other side of the room. Whenever I hear prolonged scurrying, I know the little guy is going for it again. Luckily all I need to do is glare at him and send a little "EXCUSE me, Haku" his way and he immediately stops and slinks back.

My Big Boy likes to run behind the TV and the game systems. Right where all the WIRES are. He likes anywhere dangerous. I need to completely beardie-proof my room to take him out !

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
