Lately I have found Lola standing against the glass, in the corner. Like she is squishing herself in the corner, and she just stands there without moving... What in the world is she doing? She is up on her back legs when she does it too.. Looks rather uncomfortable..

Developing self awareness? Marveling at their fine self in the glass's reflection? LOL! Mine do it too. It looks like they are sitting on their tails. Then after a while they run away and do something else. Unless I'm wrong, I don't think there's anything negative with it.

She's watching her girlish figure? :O

LOL It looks SO uncomfortable!! I wish I was that squishy, and able to find a comfy spot by cramming myself into a corner xD

If so that's just one of the crazy ways that they like to sleep.

Funny :)) I have an adult female who was doing the same exact thing this morning. I was like hmmm Ironic :) The only difference is mine is in a screened enclosure. It's our breeding tank.

They seem to love getting into crazy positions. The 2nd night I had Chief home, I woke up in the middle of the night (I'm somewhat of an insomniac) and noticed he was "stuck" in a similar position between his piece of driftwood and the glass, and he had slid down some. I thought he had snapped his little body in half the way he was laying, freaked out, and pulled him out of that position and laid him nicely on his driftwood. He looked up at me like "why did you do that?" and within a couple of minutes was right back to laying against the glass... LOL

mine do it from time to time and sleep all night like that! it looks so awkward and uncomfortable. sometimes i will move them to a lay down position to make them comfy and they stay that way, yet other times they will just do it again. i think maybe the coolness of the glass might be what they are after, i don't know...just guessing.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
