Bearded dragon stress marks while in tank

Hi I just got my 2nd bearded dragon yesterday and I know it's probably just because he is in a new place but when I hold him he is fine and happy,when I put home back in his cage he try's to climb and jump on the glass to get out and spends most of his time "climbing" on the glass and he has really pronounced stress marks

No My other one when died, vet thinks there was something wrong since birth. But no it the only one I currently have he also sleeps upright on the glass

Okay, that helps narrow down one possibility.
Since you just got the dragon it is likely just an acclimation issue. Right now while your dragon is trying to settle in try not to further stress it with frequent handling. I'm sure he will settle down with a bit of time.
