Baby Smok likes to lick me...

My baby Smok is starting to grow accustomed to me. He doesn't fuss when I pick him up and will often sit still for several minutes and just close his eyes. He also has a habit of licking me... Mostly my hands when I'm holding him.

Does anyone else's dragon do this? Any idea what it means? I know they often lick their basking spots...

They lick to taste things and to collect other chemical signals (like a snake with it's tounge, just not as good). He's being curious :)

That's pretty neat; I've never experienced that before with other beardies. He just sat there for 10 minutes staring at me...head nod, and lick. Pretty cute though!
