With Mother's Day this past Sunday my brother brought my 5 year old nephew over to see mom for the day (my parent's live in the apartment below me). My nephew saw photos of my beardie on Facebook and really wanted to meet him so I made it happen.
The two got along great. Well until Pickles climbed up his shoulder and one of his claws scrapped against his neck.
The really cool thing was later that night his teacher called to talk to him and he wouldn't stop talking about meeting his first bearded dragon that his teacher asked if when schools open back up I would be willing to bring him into the school for the kids to see when they learn about animals. I of course agreed immediately so I can't wait for this virus to piss off and expose some kids to a new experience.
