Never thought I'd protect a locust

I come home from school, and see a locust moulting. "Oh dear!" I thought "They will get too big for my beardie soon!". I used to own praying mantis, and the locust shedding reminded me of them, so I decided to watch. About half way through the process, a smaller locust appears. It begins to bite the moulting one. Still reminded of Sickle and Scythe (My late praying mantis. Manti? Mantises?), I start to tap on the box to scare it off. It hops away, and the locust continues to shed, however now it is bleeding a bit. Poor thing. I continue to watch and the troublesome one comes back. The moulting one tries to fight it off, but ends up being shot out its skin. It falls on its back and I try desperately to the troublesome one off. It hops away, and the locust corrects itself. Now I find myself watching over this locust while my beardie stares at me like "WTF you doing, human?". Those damn mantis.

Edit: The locust escaped, but the others are feeding on the dropped hemolymph. Weird bugs.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
