My beardie turned one recently. I bought her on my birthday, but she was two months old then. She was sold to me as a normal beardie, but as she grew up she turned red and orange, with a brown head and tail, like a tiny frankenstein! XD She's my baby, which is why I named her Baby. My mom is terrified of her even though she's real sweet, and Baby wakes me up every morning by moving her food bowls. She even wakes me up when I have bad dreams (I thrash around and her tank is next to my bed) and then goes back to sleep when I do. She loves to listen to music, particularly Panic! At the Disco. She also loves to nuzzle my neck and curl up to sleep on my shoulder.
Here's to Baby, who is still the best beardie, despite a vet bill due to a parasite, and despite her razor nails which are still sharp after trimming, and despite her super sassy attitude towards other people except for me. Baby I love you, you'll always be mama's little perogi, even when you grow up. ^^
