They are a hand full, but it's well worth it. They keep us happy! I have some wonderful animal companions (most of the time). Sometimes they can be little devils though.

Our newest baby came today, and I was lucky enough to greet her upon her arrival. She is gorgeous!! We haven't measured her yet, but if I read the scale right, she's about 15g. She's already had a soak and eaten a good bit since she got here. Hopefully Jonathan will be home soon to see his baby that he's waited so long for.

Thought I'd throw up a couple of pics. They aren't so great, but she's so adorable, I had to share.

Thank you! :) We do love them all very much!! Its amazing to think we started out with Belle just a few years ago and have expaneded so much.

The water dragon is being housed in a 125 gallon long aquarium. He hasn't decided I'm worth checking out yet, so gonna have to keep working on that.

And yes, the beardie is tiny!! I felt like I was going to break her the whole time I was moving her around. So far she seems to be adjusting quite well and is quite the little fire ball.

HAHAHA. I started with a yellow lab too. Going on 15 years ago now.

I have to say after having so many dependents (animals and other people's children) it is really wonderful to have a herp and human only home for this transitional period of my life. Not having to vacuum up dog hair after so long makes every day a mini vacation. They are all beautiful though. Lady looks like my Boon, my wolf dog.

Hi Lisa,
I have to say, I am right there with you on the ball python. I think they are amazing creatures, but I personally don't want them - or any snakes - anywhere near me - I'm a big scaredy cat!!

~Stephanie

I think the only good snake is a dead snake... Does that count? And rattlesnake tastes pretty good if its cooked right.

Aww, snakes are easy. You won't even know they are there. Mine live in big tupperware containers (41 qt Sterilites) in a closet and eat like $4 worth of food a month.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
