It sounds like your beardie is getting ready to shed. If so, lukewarm baths can relieve him and also help speed up the shed process. Would you be able to post a picture to make sure?

You would need to save your image to a picture hosting service such as Photobucket. Then in your post, place the url to the picture location in between the Img tags. There is an image button on the formatting toolbar when you post a message. When posting it would look something like this...
