broken bone?!

early i was carrying my chinese water dragon and he jumped and hit one of my wooden stairs pretty hard, or thats what it looked like to me. then he scurried away as quick as he could. i eventually found him, but are there any signs for a broken rib or similar injury? i would like to know before the area could become necrotic if broken.

well hes movin around and i cant really see any lumps, the only thing ive noticed since is that when he is squirming trying to get through the glass(hes not the smartest) his right leg kinda shakes, but he doesnt really seem to notice...
how much does a vet cost on average? i dont have much money at the time
