Is this a burn or something else?

This is my first reptile I have owned since 2011. I had a house fire back then that killed my nine snake's I had at the time. 10 year's later I still think about them everyday and it hurt's. This guy's name is Thrall. He is around 8 months old and has become a big part of the Family. We are working on upgrading his enclosure very soon to something bigger. Right now we have him in the enclosure I kept my Burmese python in before he out grew it. That was before the fire happened just to be clear. I just want to figure out what this is and treat it. I didn't see or notice this spot on him yesterday.

Hello,

This spot was not showing a day or so ago?
How close is his basking light to him? I don't think it is an area that is getting ready to shed
especially not that fast.
If you have pictures of his tank setup so we can see the lighting placement, that would be good.
Does it seem to be bothering him?

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
